A top US law firm is looking to a hire a Learning & Development Coordinator on a permanent basis to work directly with the Director / Partners and Lawyers across practice groups to design, implement and deliver the associate skills curriculum and assist the practice group leaders with the design and delivery of practice–specific training for associates; oversee continuing legal education.
Salary to GBP50,000

Responsibilities for the Learning & Development Coordinator will include:
Develop and coordinate the delivery of legal and professional development training for London partners, counsel, associates and trainees to address their respective learning and development needsWork with human resources staff to coordinate the lawyering orientation process for new trainees and associatesManage the evaluation process for London trainees, associates and counsel, including supervising the collection of evaluations, interviewing partners to collect evaluations, organizing review materials for discussion of partners responsible for reviews, participating in discussions of associate performance, drafting career development messages, rankings and other performance messages, monitoring to ensure that performance messages are delivered, and participating in Evaluation Committee meetingsSupport the formal advising program for associates, including advisor assignments, orientation and training in advising–related mattersWork closely with the US–based Professional Development team on global projects and initiatives Learning & Development Coordinator candidates need to have a minimum of 2 years Learning & Development / Attorney Talent / Professional Development experience within a law firm, in addition to strong written, communication and organisational skills and the ability to develop programs and initiatives. Standard hours are 9.30am – 5.30pm and a salary of up to GBP50,000 is on offer plus agile working.
