Brand new role - Learning and Development Manager

Hybrid - Stockport office (3 days in office)

Salary up to 50k plus 25 days holiday, pension, private medical

Working for a fantastic, and rapidly expanding employer in Manchester, we are excited to be recruiting their brand new Learning and Development Manager.

This role will report to the Senior HR Manager and will be responsible for all aspects of L&D in the business.

Key responsibilities:

Working closely with the business to understand learning and development opportunities, skills gaps and training programme opportunities. Launching a soft skills training programme Creation of training materials and videos on their technology platforms, designing training roadmaps for each role based on skills gaps analysis Delivering on-site and remote training and developing the onboarding process Researching and implementing a new LMS within the business Designing and delivering appropriate leadership and management development to enhance their leadership capabilities Address internal performance gaps and provide solutions Continually review development plans and content to ensure alignment to current and future needs of the business Work closely with the wider HR team Manage external relationships and costs for external training providers and build a portfolio of external trainers who are recommended that you can use as and when required Responsible for introduction and onboarding process to ensure all new starters receive relevant training and standardise inductions Gathering feedback from the business on L&D training Reporting The ideal candidate and experience

Previous experience in an L&D role - ideally someone who has built a department from scratch, or has worked in a few roles to devise and implement the end to end strategy LMS experience Strong stakeholder management skills Confident, able to work in a busy role and to prioritise projects CIPD qualification Confident in presenting, writing and delivering powerpoint and other training materials Roberts Webb Recruitment are acting as a Recruitment Agency in relation to this role.
