Location: Worcester

Salary: GBP23.75 per hour - Paid Breaks

Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week Days only, Nights only or Mixed Shifts depending on your preference

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced registered nurse to work within a Specialist Complex Care Service . The service offers a high standard of person-centred care to adults with complex mental health needs and neuro-disabilities, including Huntington's disease and Parkinson's. The successful candidate will have the leadership capabilities and the clinical experience to that the people in our care receive the highest standards in a positive and progressive organisational culture. Being at the forefront of clinical care delivery you will be responsible for providing strong leadership to develop and improve the standard of daily living. You will lead the nurse team during your shifts, mentor and motivate colleagues, champion safety and dignity, and drive continuous improvement,.The Care Home has 43 large bedrooms in total across 2 units. They are rated highly on (url removed) and have a number of fantastic reviews left by services users and relatives of services users. The service has a lively and positive atmosphere and they always have something going on for the service users to get involved with.The company is recognised as a leading provider of specialist nursing care in the UK. They are opening newly commissioned services over the next year too which opens great opportunities for internal progression.

Job Role:

As a Lead Nurse, you will take the role of a senior nurse on duty and have responsibility for a team of nursing and care staff. You will lead by example, delivering hands-on nursing care and providing strong leadership to your team. You will have a person centred ethos and be committed to enriching the lives of the individuals in your care.Being at the forefront of clinical care delivery you will be responsible in providing strong leadership to develop and improve the standard of daily living. You will be empowered to really make a difference and the nursing home size means you have sufficient time in a day to make a real difference to the lives of those in your care.You will lead the nurse team during your shifts; you will make certain that we fully meet medical, physical and emotional requirements of adults in your care. Ensuring compliance with our clinical governance framework, you will mentor and motivate colleagues, champion safety and dignity and drive continuous improvement.

An experienced Registered Nurse ( RGN , RMN or RNLD ) ? The Care Home welcomes applications from General Nurses, Mental Health Nurses and Learning Disability Nurses.
