An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead Business Partner to join the Rolls-Royce Submarines Business in Derby.

In this role you will be responsible for the relationship with the wider business. You will have excellent stakeholder management skill, be an experienced people manager and a good understanding of Agile ways of working, including SRUM mastering, Sprint etc. You will have experience in requirements management & business analysis as you will be leading the business analysis team.

What you will be doing:

You will have overall ownership for strategic relationships and stakeholder management for specific business areas or functions.

Fully engage the business or function across the entire IT lifecycle (Determine requirements, Delivery of programmes, run current services and Retire legacy systems). Be able to understand business strategy, requirements and processes across the entire value chain and be able to translate those into IT capabilities / outcomes through the Determine processes. Ensure the IT roadmaps remain relevant for business or function and the associated multi-year capital investment plans are in place to deliver the business demands. Ensure the successful launch of projects within domain accountable for, and that these then deliver the expected business benefits to time, cost and quality - with appropriate sponsorship, governance and escalations in place. Ensure that IT services remain visible and relevant within domain accountable for, assuring they are run to the agreed service levels, risks are visible, and retirement of non-relevant services are planned for; also, you will provide the business with Global IT input into Business Continuity planning and Risk Management, whilst understanding, prioritising and mitigating business and IT continuity issues and risks. This will include ensuring that risk mitigations plans are appropriate and being actively owned.

Educated to Degree Level or equivalent.Relevant experience in IT delivery, ideally with experience in complex corporation stakeholder management roles.Experience of managing a range of projects or programmes.Experience of working with business leaders on the development of business & IT strategy and experience in change management and senior stakeholder management. Experience and good understanding of Agile ways of working, including SRUM mastering, Sprint etc.

To work for Rolls-Royce Submarines you need to hold a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you don't currently already have this in place. Due to the nature of work the business conducts and the protection of certain assets, you must hold a UK nationality. Any dual nationals will require additional scrutiny and background checks prior to commencing work with RRSL.
