This is a 3 month rolling contract working full time hours.We are seeking an experienced Prosecution Lawyer specialising in prosecution and enforcement matters, who is a qualified solicitor, barrister, Legal Executive or equivalent. The candidate will be responsible for advising and representing the council in both routine and complex matters such as prosecution of offences under the Housing Act 2004, Environmental Protection Act 1990, and other Regulatory cases, enforcement and environmental health work and advocacy at court. The suitable candidate will be qualified as a Lawyer, Barrister, Solicitor or similar. They must have experience within Housing, ASB or a similar service.
