Are you looking for your first position in an entry level, chemistry–based Lab tech role? This is the position for you! This engineering, environmental and soil treatment consultancy are seeking a motivated Laboratory Technician based in Sheffield, to join their lab team on a range of exciting projects.

The Laboratory Technician selected will be offered:

The Laboratory Technician selected will be working amongst a team of scientists, carrying out site investigations, taking soil samples, assisting with research and monitoring technical developments. You'll be working in the lab, on site and in office to ensure you are exposed to all phases of contaminated land and ground investigations, and trained thoroughly, allowing for career progression where desired.

To be considered for this Laboratory Technician position you should:

Have a good standard level of education including GCSEs in Maths, English and Science.Have interest in science or geology based fields.Have a keenness to learn, interpret data and analyse findings.Be able to work as part of a team and independently.Be able to comply to health and safety protocols.Be commutable to Sheffield.
