This engineering, environmental and soil treatment consultancy are seeking a motivated Laboratory Technician to works in a hands on, involved and varied laboratory technician position based near Nottingham.

The Laboratory Technician position requires work with a team of specialist scientists, technicians and engineers, carrying out site investigations, taking soil samples, assisting with research and monitoring technical developments. You'll be working in the lab, on site and in office to ensure you are exposed to all phases of contaminated land and ground investigations, and trained thoroughly, allowing for career progression where desired.

The selected Laboratory Technician will have:

A good standard level of education including GCSEs in Maths, English and Science.Ideally, a background in chemistry or an interest in science based positions.An ability to closely follow instructions and take care with work.Have a keenness to learn, interpret data and analyse findings.Be able to comply to health and safety protocols.Be commutable to Nottingham area (ideally with a valid UK Driving licence).
