Your responsibilities:

Supporting the testing process in UL Laboratory by: examination of test samples, reading blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams, measuring instruments and operational instructions

Supporting the evaluation of test performance and reviewing test and construction data with supervisor

Building and/or adapting setup and test equipment based on data sheets and instructions from engineering department

Operating designated machines and special laboratory equipment

Reporting data to engineers and other laboratory staff based on the instructions received

Supporting engineers in communication with clients during the setup and performance of a test to demonstrate equipment test methods and/or to discuss test results

Recording observed or calculated data on appropriate UL forms and preparing data sheets and test reports

Integrating continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of the job

What makes you a good fit:

College / Technical High school graduate

Experience is not required

Ability to read and understand technical drawings and documentation

Good command of spoken and written English

Proactive approach and good teamworking and communication skills

Ability to adapt to new environment and good problem solving skills

Knowledge about batteries, BMS systems would be an asset
