Laboratory Manager

Full-time and permanent roleMonday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pmSalary dependent on experienceLocation: Lincolnshire Reed Scientific is partnering with a well-established chemical manufacturer based in Lincolnshire with an international presence. They are looking for a hands on Laboratory Manager to manage up to two members of staff and all aspects of a small laboratory.

Responsibilities:

Laboratory compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and other laboratory accreditationsDevelopment and validation of analytical methodsRoutine analysis and producing accurate resultsAuthorisation of results and Certificates of AnalysisManaging laboratory documentation and establishing laboratory proceduresInvolvement in financial decisionsEnsuring that the laboratory consumables are fully stocked and equipment maintainedWorkload planningStaff training, supervision and recruitment Ideal Candidate:

A degree in ChemistryMinimum 2 years' experience of working in an industrial laboratoryExtensive experience in Analytical Chemistry and ISO17025 knowledgeExperience of Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectroscopy and Segmented Flow AnalysisExperience in undertaking development and validation of analytical methodsKnowledge of MS Office and ideally LIMS softwareEffective communication skills at all levelsFull UK driving license and own vehicleFlexible with working hours when required If this sounds of interest, please don't hesitate to apply today.
