Reed scientific are working with an Aberdeen based company looking for a Laboratory Analyst to join their Microbiology team. Joining the highly motivated team in this global testing company offers great development and career opportunities around the globe.

Job role:– Working alongside the supervisor ensuring daily activities are performed to standards.– Mentor and train junior staff.– Perform equipment calibration and maintenance.– Prepare reports and act as report signatory as required.– Stock and consumables management for service line.– Act as a positive company representative with customers and clients.– Perform analytical trials including quality checks, reports and QC media testing.

Role requirements:– Scientific degree or higher national certificate or 3 years laboratory experience.– Proficient in MS office and data entry.– Positive attitude to work at all levels and ability to work to tight deadlines.– Strong communication skills crucial.– Full ETW.
