Job Title: Lab Technician

Salary: GBP21,000

Fixed Term Contract - Immediate Start

Aspion are currently looking to recruit a Lab Technician to join growing team in the Runcorn area working in the chemical industry. You will be part of the stock team that interacts with different departments of the company to ensure the stock is recorded, stored, prepared and shipped correctly.

Weighing out chemical compounds for orders will be the primary task on this role but there will also be the packaging of orders and some general lab housekeeping. The successful candidate will be given significant support from the companies operations team and be trained in all areas where needed.

Responsibilities:

? Weigh out compounds on a lab balance using LCCs custom software to record accurately amounts weighed.

? Weigh compounds for chemists and deliver to the lab.

? Package compounds for shipment to customers.

? Liaise with BD team for getting packages picked up by courier.

? Ensure all compounds are stored correctly as per LCCs storage system.

? Excellent organisational and communication skills.

? Good time management and interpersonal skills.

? Soft skills: A positive attitude and the willingness to adapt/learn is always a good starting point!
