OVERVIEW: L5 HEALTH & SOCIAL CARE ASSESSOR
An opportunity to join an innovative and rapidly growing training provider, we are looking for an experienced Health & Social Care Assessor to join their successful team.
Based from home, you will be responsible for the delivery of Health & Social Care apprenticeships up to Level 5 (including functional skills) to a caseload of learners in your region. The successful candidate will need to have a strong management background within Adult Health & Social Care.
You will already hold the relevant Assessor qualification (A1, TAQA or equivalent) and a Teaching Qualification. You will also need a L5 H&SC qualification to be considered for this role.
Learners are located in the Dorset & Hampshire region, although much of the training is delivered from home online.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: L5 HEALTH & SOCIAL CARE ASSESSOR
Train, assess, motivate and support Health & Social Care learners on programmes towards achieving Health & Social Care Apprenticeship qualifications, including Functional skillsMaximise the use of e-learning and using a variety of assessment methods to ensure learners have the chance to evidence their knowledge in a variety of ways.Support, develop, implement and evaluate approved Health & Social Care training materials, promoting standardisation, use approved training methods to develop the learner and utilise every opportunity to supporting them to achieving their qualification in a timely manner.Ensure the highest standards of learner completions are met and to monitor candidates progress, including carrying out regular progression reviews/additional support reviews.
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES: L5 HEALTH & SOCIAL CARE ASSESSOR
L5 H&SC qualificationAssessor Award (TAQA, CAVA etc.)Teaching qualificationFunctional Skills qualifications at Level 2A minimum 2 years' occupational experience within a Health & Social Care setting within a senior/management roleExperience of working remotelyExcellent communication skillsAbility to work autonomously and manage own diary Full UK Driving License and use of own vehicle
