We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join Kitchen House Ltd, a family run independent kitchen design studio in Bournemouth that has been trading since 1987, for a customer facing design role. We design, supply and install mainly kitchen and utility rooms for domestic properties and you will have the opportunity to work with a designer with over 30 years experience.
Main Duties include:
Designing kitchens using our CAD package that meets the customer’s requirements
Dealing with customers in the showroom including taking design briefs and develop an understanding of their requirements and expectations
Organising appointments and surveys with customers
Assisting design presentations and developing excellent relationships with the customers
General administration work regarding the projects from design to installation, including placing supplier orders and organising client documentation
Maintaining the showroom and displays to a high standard
Key holder (opening and closing showroom)
The Ideal Candidate has:
Previous experience of kitchen design and using CAD packages
Experience working in the KBB industry
2020 Fusion/Winner software knowledge (desirable but not essential as support is available)
Microsoft Office skills required
Excellent communication skills both in person and over the phone
Confidence in interacting with customers while maintaining a personable demeanour
Strong attention to detail
Ability to adapt to different roles as required
