Hays are working alongside fantastic primary schools in the Walsall area. Our Education team have a combined experience of over 50 years and have built some great relationships with these schools.
I am working in partnership with a number of primary schools, that are working exclusively with myself and Hays, in recruiting all of their staffing needs. Working closely with these schools, we can offer regular work local to you, with good rates of pay and a range of schools from Requires Improvement, to Good, to Outstanding.
Part of my job is to learn your drives and passions and marry this with what our primary schools are looking for. Whether that is short term, day-to-day work, long-term maternity cover or sickness, or a permanent position, Hays are committed to finding the best opportunity for you but also to support our partnership primary schools.

Your potential new school
Hays are lucky enough to deal with a variety of primary schools covering one-form, two-form and three-form entry across Walsall – rated from Requires Improvement to Good to Outstanding. These schools focus on a variety of outcomes such as the emotional and mental well-being of their children to the more academic outcomes and developing them to succeed in future endeavours.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a qualified teacher (QTS), however the schools are happy to take on experienced teachers or NQTs/ECTs, and it would be advantageous to have experience in Early Years, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2. You need to be a good team player, have good time management and behaviour management skills.You must be able to provide child related references within the last two years.
