Purpose of the Job:
At PET–Xi Training, we are dedicated to empowering individuals through education and training. We are seeking a Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our People team who is passionate about making a difference in the education sector.
Reporting into our Talent Acquisition Lead, this role is pivotal in shaping our recruitment team, requiring a balance of innovation, adaptability, and effective communication.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition: Directly engage in the recruitment process for various roles, including subcontractor (Associates) and zero–hour positions. Where required you will support our Talent Acquisition Lead in utilising job boards, social media, professional networks, job fairs, and referrals to attract and source high–quality candidates.Candidate Assessment: Conduct telephone interviews to ensure candidates are a great fit and ensure compliance with right–to–work documentation.Data Management: Maintain accurate candidate records in the applicant tracking system.Communication: Manage incoming calls and queries in the shared recruitment inbox.Onboarding Support: Assist with onboarding new recruits during peak periods.Innovative Recruitment Strategies: Develop and implement creative methods for talent attraction.Meeting Targets: Achieve set recruitment KPIs.Proven experience in a recruitment role, preferably in an educational setting.Familiarity with KCSIE Safer Recruitment legislation or willingness to learn.Experience in high volume recruiting.Computer literate and confident usingStrong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to handle confidential information sensitively.Minimum education: GCSE, including Maths and English.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Proactive and adaptable in a dynamic environment.Good understanding of AI technology and ability to utilise it effectively and efficiently within PET–Xi s guidelines. Skills / Experience:
