We are looking for a Junior SQL Developer to join our IT Transformation Team at Marsden Building Society. Reporting to the Business Transformation Manager this is an exciting opportunity that would suit someone at the start of their career, possibly a graduate, looking to build their skills and knowledge and with opportunities to continue to develop.

With a methodical and analytical approach to problem solving, the Junior SQL Developer will work closely with the IT Application Programmer Analyst to provide support and assistance with all aspects of data management.

Utilising their skills, the successful candidate will be supported to develop their SQL programming abilities, increasing their knowledge to be able to update systems, perform effective data management, and ensure continued maintenance of critical business functions.

The Junior SQL Developer role is advertised on a full-time basis, working a 35 hour week between Monday and Friday, but we will consider applications from candidates on a job share or part-time basis. While the successful Junior SQL Developer will need to attend our Head Office in Nelson for 30% of their working week, we have embraced hybrid working and aren t restricted by geography.
