About The Role
This is an exciting, dynamic commercial role within the Health & Beauty department at the UK's leading Pharmaceutical distributor.
Your primary responsibility will be to support the Health & Beauty Commercial Team. There will be a large amount of reporting and administrative duties to be carried out on a daily basis. You will have responsibility for the day to day management of the Data Management Suite. This is an internal system that allows the department and our suppliers to manage and make changes to product and prices and to submit promotional plans and new lines.
You will also manage a small selection of named Health & Beauty manufacturers to increase sales through promotional plans and to achieve margin and income targets for the department. You will be required to manage these suppliers to develop a market leading range selection, commercial pricing and to manage the product life cycle.
You will be required to work very closely with other department functions to support the execution of the Joint Business Plans effectively and maximise category income and total contribution. These departments include supply chain, category development, finance and Alphega Pharmacy.

About the Candidate
We would value the following attributes:
Health & Beauty knowledge would be an advantage IT skills Able to effectively use a wide range of systems such as Word, Powerpoint and must be at least an intermediate Excel user (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables etc) Understanding of Price and margin management Ability to work under pressure, prioritise and work to deadlines Strong interpersonal skills Ability to communicate and present at all levels internally and externally Strong numerical and analytical skills to recognise performance indicators and present findings with action recommendation In return we can offer you a competitive salary and benefits package including:
