JAWA 500cc 884 lay-flat engine 85mm x 87. The engine was bought before lock-down for a drag race project which will never now happen. It was stripped when l got it but l have sort of re-assembled it to check it all out. It is NOT repeat NOT ready to run. A temporary crank pin is aluminium to enable the crank to be assembled loosely and nothing has been torqued down. However, you wouldn't use a race engine without a complete strip would you? All the parts are

good and useable but there are some minor bits missing. These include (but are not limited to):-12mm x 1 LH thread nut for the ignition rotor, the ignition cover (see photos), the woodruf keys for the crank-pins, the sump breather plate, all required gaskets. The head is still stripped as l no longer have a set of DTIs to set up the valve timing but all the parts, valves, springs, seats, & caps are there but for some strange reason there are only 5 collets.. Spare set of valve guides and some valves. There is only 1 head gasket (.5mm) but they are readily available and you won't know what you need until the engine is assembled. The piston rings are not on the piston but included and there is a spare set. Nicisil cylinder is in good condition. Crank-pin and two sets of big end bearings, one of them new.

The engine stand is not included.

The whole lot weighs 36Kgs! The only parcel company I can find who will take this is UPS at a cost of £40 or so. I am more than happy to shrink wrap the engine for the buyer and you for to arrange your own pick-up; or you are welcome to Cornwall to collect; in fact that would be my preference. You can verify my description at the time and I am happy to make a cup of tea (or coffee if you are that way inclined) and even lend you a few spanners!
