Mot till end of February
In the last couple months it’s had New rear wheel arch tubs
All floor rust treated and red oxide primed
New 18mm marine ply and insulated/Vapor barrier applied to the floor
Sides fully insulated and Vapor barrier fitted
Rear bulkhead made to seal from the rear doors around 1ft from the doors with garage section underneath.
Partly converted inside the van with the garage/ bulkhead creating a raised fixed bed 900mm high the full width of the van and 6ft long.
Base of bed made with 18mm ply also.
Rear bulkhead also insulated
Large storage area underneath the bed also 3ft deep where it meets the rear bulkhead to the garage section in the rear.
All framework made with 40mm steel box section welded into the van . (Very strong)
4 overhead speakers installed in the cab storage compartment just to give some sort of decent music as the original ones were absolutely shot.
Do have a sink and hob fitted to the van also as you can see but obviously the van wants finishing but a lot of the hard work has already been done and does hold its heat very well considering the size of the van!
It does want a little tidying depending on what you wanted to do with the van , my plan was to put a couple skylights in the van but keep it as a panel van for that king of “sleeper” look to it.
It was a workhorse van so isn’t in perfect condition but does drive extremely well for what it is no knocks or bangs does drive great.
A couple issues it has
It’s wants a throttle valve actuator, has a intermittent fault, it’s been plugged in and confirmed that’s the issue , it can sometimes run abit lumpy and struggle to rev but does come back to normal. Is a £150 part new.
The wiring underneath the van for the abs sensor has a broken wire which has put the abs lights on the dashboard.
