Are you a dedicated and compassionate IT teacher with a passion for supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs, including autism? If so, we invite you to join our team of specialist teachers.
About Us:
We are nestled in the peaceful Leicestershire countryside.We provide residential care and day school placements for boys and girls between the ages of 8 and 18.Our mission is simple: to equip every child with the skills and knowledge they need to lead healthy, productive lives.
Role and Responsibilities:
Design and deliver engaging IT lessons tailored to individual student needs.Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.Collaborate with other teachers, therapists, and support staff to create personalised learning plans.Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.Support students in developing essential digital literacy skills.Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to students’ Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
Requirements:
Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.Experience working with students with social, emotional, and mental health needs, including autism.Strong knowledge of IT curriculum and technology integration.Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning styles.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Commitment to promoting students’ well-being and personal growth.
