IT Business Consulting is a busy department responsible for the technical and functional operations of all systems within the application landscape and the identification, specification, and delivery of solutions to meet business requirements. Based in our brand new, state-of-the-art head office in Tolworth, the department is looking for a passionate and driven individual to join the team and build a career in a fast-paced international environment.

As an IT Business Consulting Senior Officer, you will provide the business with advice, solutions and assistance with technical, functional and process related matters associated with core Supply Chain Systems, bespoke business applications and custom solutions.

We have moved to a hybrid working model with a recommended 2 days in the office per week for appropriate Head Office and Regional roles, empowering our teams to choose how and where they work best. We feel it is important that, where possible, we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible and trust our teams to determine the right environments that work most effectively for them.

What you'll do

Provide an excellent level of IT support and customer service for supported systems Manage the ongoing change, release and test management of responsible systems and processes together with functional departments Actively participate in proactive investigations and discussions with functional departments relating to Supply Chain Organise training of new technical solutions is cascaded to other support teams and business users to enable an efficient support process Work closely with international colleagues to troubleshoot incidents and implement long term solutions Actively engage with the functional departments to ensure that system capabilities are utilised to improve processes and effectiveness Identify and capture business processes that can be improved through existing or new solutions and create solution proposals Provide out of hours technical support, on a rota basis, to ensure the running of business operations Participate in the development process for creating user stories and specifications for system changes by coordinating with internal development, International IT or external solutions providers on their implementation Participate in and run projects at both a national and international level Applying, integrating and complying with International standards and procedures Identifying areas for optimisation around business processes with appropriate technical solutions

What you'll need

Knowledge of Supply Chain Processes The ability to communicate with all levels of the business Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems Previous experience within an IT Support environment Practical working knowledge of ITIL v4 or higher would be desirable but not essential Must be a team player and a proactive learner UK Driving License is advantageous German language skills would be desirable
