This role will work closely with Sales, Planning, Purchasing, Finance and Logistics, across a portfolio of commodities with focus on customer delivery, cash flow and business growth by geographical location. Experience within a Planning and Inventory environment is essential, with a deep understanding of SIOP, MRP and capacity planning. A proactive approach to problem solving is required as well leading and motivating cross functional teams from the front.

Key focus Areas

Responsible for setting the inventory strategy across all locations in agreement with Sales and Operations Responsible for the design and implementation of SIOP and ensuring the agreed sales forecast is implemented Creates and submits forecast inventory projection for AOP and by quarter Owns E&O providing proposals on reserves as agreed with key stakeholders Responsible for the inventory accuracy of all products on all sites To achieve agreed metrics on inventory, turns and accuracy Ability to analyze cost effectiveness and make sound commercial / business decisions to reduce costs Identify and manage supply chain risks, communicate with internal and external stakeholders to mitigate risk Problem solving demand issues Drive initiatives and continuous process improvement within the wider org Generates internal management reports for senior teams Participates in Kaizen events and continuous improvements sessions Desired Skills and Experience

Minimum 5 years of Planning experience with an FMCG organization Experience of managing a team Experience with Lean / Continuous Improvement teams and activities Expert understanding of Oracle Cloud (or similar) MRP based planning system. Ability to handle multiple competing priorities for multiple projects. Effective interpersonal and communication skills at all levels of the organization and maintain confidentiality to people outside the organization.
