As part of the Accommodation Services, the Intervention, Welfare, and Conduct Residences Manager will hold significant responsibility for overseeing serious welfare, disability, and conduct cases. This involves serving as the escalation point for critical incidents, conducting risk assessments, and managing disciplinary actions in alignment with established protocols. They will take charge of refining student support processes and creating policies and procedures. Direct engagement with students, collaborating with various teams, and conducting audits to support students' welfare and disciplinary needs will also be an integral part of the role.
The ideal candidate for this role will be a qualified mental health practitioner with a background in Higher Education or accommodation settings. They will need exceptional communication, leadership, and decision–making skills, along with a proven track record in managing welfare and disciplinary cases.
