Description

Working in partnership with the Royal Borough of Greenwich and Newhaven School, Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) will provide an offer to meet the needs of young people in key stages 3 & 4 who require a short intervention outside of a mainstream school. The CACT provision will raise the likelihood of children and young people being able to successfully return to a mainstream setting, with additional support improving the chances of meeting needs, reducing exclusions, and ensuring the best opportunity to succeed in education

CACT's Intervention Manager will ensure:

Operational management, leadership, and oversight of CACT provision Oversee and line manage CACT Intervention Officers Support small group of children and young people (CYP) who are currently unable to attend mainstream education. At earliest possible opportunity support reintegration into mainstream setting and/or most suitable educational next step Lead and liaise with other professionals to ensure coordination of interventions, in-line with the young person's targets and have their needs met. Operational Management of the CACT provision:

IT testing and setup of all equipment to maximise learning opportunities. Key holder for Woolwich Common Youth Hub Coordination of all visitors to the Youth Hub Booking of rooms / spaces for all programme delivery Compile reports for programme leadership group Oversight and responsibility of monitoring form for all attendees Attend weekly meetings with RBG Inclusion staff to discuss referrals. Ensure every CYP has a baseline assessment when joining the provision. Complete reintegration form / evidence for each young person returning to mainstream. Attend monthly Fair Access Panel (FAP) meetings. Attend all other relevant meetings Coordination of the programme's food offer Lead Intervention Officers with day to day running of the CACT provision. Maintain accurate records and follow all safeguarding policies and procedures. Planning and delivering interventions to support emotional wellbeing of young people. Working in partnership with RBG Inclusion and Newhaven school to deliver and share key information with schools CYP are on roll with Liaise with parents / carers. Support identification and removal of barriers that would prevent a young person attending the provision. Be a role model to young people, presenting professional delivery standards. Establish effective working relationships with funding bodies, stakeholders, career advisors and local employers. The successful candidate will be expected to support with teaching and learning through:

Working with identified small group of young people. Support learning programme of young people Facilitate access of online learning, engage with CYP to work with online Tutor. Ensure CYP access the learning task and provide feedback to the tutor on CYP specifics, learning gaps, wants, and needs. Having high expectations for CYP and ensure the learning environment is conducive to learning. Monitoring, Assessment, Planning and Recording:

Overall responsibility for programme Monitoring and Evaluation, in-line with Service Level Agreement (SLA), agreed targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPI's). Ensure compliance with GDPR and Information Governance regulations. Keep session notes of young people's engagement in learning. Setting tasks to support CYP physical and emotional development. Keeping accurate record of sessions attended and share necessary information with schools, RBG Inclusion officers and parents including attendance and safeguarding. Please note this role is TERM TIME ONLY. Salary is not pro rata but reflects the 39 weeks of work.
