What You Will Do:

Our team - Financial Crime, Fraud and Investigative Services (FFI) - are experts in financial crime risk management. We work with top global and local financial institutions, including banks, asset managers, fintechs and crypto asset providers to build effective and efficient risk management and compliance programmes.

Our service offerings include regulatory and business change programmes; governance and conduct matters; risk and regulatory advice; risk management frameworks; investigations; and remediation programmes.

As a Guidehouse intern, you will have the opportunity to provide wide-ranging support for client engagements, whilst building your technical foundation.

From day one, you will make an impact, helping our clients combat financial crime. Most importantly, you will work side-by-side with top former prosecutors, regulators, compliance officers and consultants - building custom solutions to conquer the toughest scenarios. You will help clients detect and prevent illicit and illegal behaviour through tailored compliance programmes designed to mitigate the risk of financial crime.

You will work in small teams led by experienced senior managers to deliver high quality client-ready work. You will collaborate on critical projects to help clients overcome specific problems and challenges related to anti financial crime management. Thus, enabling you to increase your understanding of their complex business problems, and develop new skills and experience to help you in the future, be that at Guidehouse or beyond.

What You Will Need:

Minimum Years of Experience: 0 years Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the UK. No sponsorship is available for this position. Enrolled in a university and graduating with a relevant Undergraduate or Master's degree (e.g. law, business, engineering, accounting, finance, economics, etc.)

An interest in consulting for financial services and keen to learn about financial crime Commercial awareness - In order to understand the challenges faced by our clients, Interns need to stay abreast of industry developments and the changing regulatory agenda. Confident communicators - Our teams engage with senior stakeholders both verbally and in written reporting and communication. Analytical mind and attention to detail - Our team is made up of problem solvers who take a pragmatic approach to a wide range of client challenges. You'll be given the opportunity to research and provide advice on complex regulation and emerging industry best practices. Team player - projects are made up of colleague from different backgrounds who must work effectively together to deliver the right client outcome. Experience in Microsoft products, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
