Description

Our client is a specialist provider of learning disability services across East London and Essex. They are recruiting for an Interim Regional Manager covering London and Essex for a period of 6-12 months, working remote (37.5 hours per week) They also specialise in dementia, elderly care, end of life and mental health.

Remote working with regular visits to services in London, Essex and Southend on Sea. Demonstrate an ongoing visible presence within the services. Successfully lead their Locality Managers to meet operational requirements whilst delivering financial compliance. Ensure service delivery meets the requirements of the contract, Regulatory Requirements as set out by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), and their policies and procedures including a being able to evidence quality care through the CQC s Single Assessment Framework requirements. Work proactively and in close partnership with Quality and Governance Leads to continuously improve service delivery for customers. Support the team of Locality Managers to ensure that services are fully resourced through effective and efficient recruitment and deployment minimising the use of agency workers. Develop, support and coach managers to improve their leadership and management skills including financial and budgetary planning. Oversee the auditing process for all LDMH services and use technology to monitor progress and action plans. Effective communication with customers, staff, commissioning teams and other stakeholders demonstrating positive and sustainable relationships. Participate in on call on a rota and occasionally work unsocial hours. Undertake other duties as may be required by the Chief Executive or Director of Care & Support. About you:

Previous mid-manager level experience of leading and managing groups of services and developing excellent relationships with local authorities.

Professional qualification or relevant workplace experience.

Strong background in a care and support operational management role in a regulated environment.

Experience of working as a CQC Registered Manager.

A good understanding of the CQC s Single Assessment Framework view of quality and performance with the ability to share examples of good quality care.

Confident communicator with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.

Intermediate level or above Microsoft Office skills.

Experience of managing staff processes including investigations, hearings, and mediation.

Strong analytical skills and is committed to continuous improvement.

Focused on performance, resource conscious with a positive and enthusiastic outlook.

A car driver with vehicle available to use for work or evidence of being able to travel independently to services.
