Interim Group Financial Reporting Lead (3–6 month contract ) – London/Remote/hybrid – Up to GBP600 a day
My client, an AIM listed tech company with offices in Central London, is looking to recruit an Interim Group Financial Reporting Lead for a 3–6 month contract offering remote or hybrid working. They are looking for a financial reporting expert, with previous AIM reporting experience, to take a hands–on role in delivering the year end and audit.
Key responsibilities:
Prepare consolidated financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards (IFRS).Support the month–end and year–end financial close process to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate the audit process and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards and ensure the company's accounting policies are in compliance.Provide technical accounting guidance to the finance team and other stakeholders.Identify opportunities for process improvement in financial reporting and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Work closely with cross–functional teams to streamline reporting processes and optimise resource allocation.Support the finance team in other areas as required. Key skills:
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with significant post–qualification experience.Proven experience in a senior financial reporting role within a publicly listed or AIM listed company.Strong knowledge of IFRS and other relevant accounting standards.Experience managing the financial close process and coordinating with external auditors.Strong individual contributor, comfortable working in the detail.Exceptional analytical and problem–solving abilities.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
