About the RoleThe Intake Manager reports to the General Manager and the main purpose of the role is to ensure the effective running of the Goods Inwards department and stock management. Working closely with the wider purchasing, technical, and management team, this role is key to delivering stock and managing the transit of stock throughout the business.
Core working hours: Monday to Friday 07:00 - 16:00 and Saturday on a rota 07:00 - 12:00, however, the role will demand a flexible approach to deliver the needs of the business.
We require someone with a friendly personality with the ability to be able to develop good working relationships across the business and develop their team.
Main ResponsibilitiesThe day-to-day management of the intake team.Ensuring Intake traceability systems are managed and controlled.Timely receipt of all goods/deliveries and controlling the intake schedule.QA/QC of all deliveries ensuring the quality/weight is to agreed orders and specifications.Stock rotation and stock management of all goods.We would welcome applications for this Intake Manager role from candidates with skills in intakes, stock management, FLT, poultry, QA, QC, inventory, SLAs, leadership, people management, warehousing, goods-in, stock control, or previous experience as an Intake Manager.
