Intake Manager Fashion Greater Manchester GBP40k

Zachary Daniels are excited to be partnering with an amazing, well recognised fashion brand who have exciting growth plans. We are seeking a driven and passionate Intake Manager to lead and manage the end to end supply chain of product coming from international manufacturers into global distribution centres.

The ideal candidate will have previous management experience, ideally within an Import environment and have an awareness of customs requirements. The role holder must be confident of working with large data sets to create reports.

The role as Intake Manager:

Container consolidation planningReporting of visibility of DC bookings to support DC capacity planning Costing global transport, ensuring efficiencies and looking for supply chain improvementsProcessing all global customs requirementsWorking with freight forwarders and global 3PL warehousesReporting on performance to share with wider SLT The ideal candidate will have:

Proven management experience of working within an import/inbound freight environmentRetail experience is desirableWorking knowledge of warehouse management systems and various modes of transportPrevious experience of working with large data setsSome export knowledge would be an advantage Freight Mangaer package:
