A construction company specialising in insurance work require an experienced insurance surveyor.
THE JOB:
- Based in their Farnham office, you will cover the South of England.
- Attending domestic properties to determine the cause of damage and prepare an accurate schedule of works
- Surveying the incident promptly, prepare a full report for insurers containing photos, measurements and costs on their client's bespoke systems
- Ensuring adequate cost control measures are in place on a claim-by-claim basis
- Agreeing on variations and final accounts
- Meeting with loss adjusters and negotiate with the adjuster / insurer for authorisation to carry out repairs
- Sourcing materials to allow works to be booked in
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Experience within a similar role is preferable
- Good knowledge of the building trade
- Good computer skills
- Good organisational skills
- Full driving license
SALARY & BENEFITS:
- £35,000 - £45,000, dependent on experience
- Company car
- 25 days holiday + public holidays
