This well–respected Loss Adjusting firm is actively seeking to expand its team with the addition of a Risk Surveyor. Working on behalf of an array of clients, this firm offers tailored and bespoke services, handling losses on a national and international basis.
As Risk Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting risk surveys for commercial properties, assessing potential risks and vulnerabilities, and providing recommendations for risk mitigation and management.
Key Responsibilities:
You will manage your own diary and attend clients sites, mainly in the midlands, however could also be national depending on business requirements.Conducting risk surveys for commercial properties, including assessing fire and flood risks, identifying potential hazards and vulnerabilities, and making recommendations for risk management strategiesDeveloping comprehensive risk assessment reports that clearly outline potential risks and hazards, and provide recommendations for reducing or managing these risksKeeping up–to–date with industry trends and best practices in risk management, and staying informed about market changes and regulations Requirements:
You will have experience in conducting risk surveys for commercial properties, but we would also consider those from a residential background, that is seeking to progress.Your experience can be earnt within the insurance industry or within a Health & Safety Consultancy.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex information to clients and colleagues in a clear and concise manner.Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate report writing.The ability to work independently and as part of a team.Ideally you will have completed relevant qualifications such as IOSH or NEBOSH certification. You will be based in/around the Midlands, sharing your time between site visits and home–working. The salary on offer is up to GBP45,000, plus company car and benefits.
