Salary: 60,0000 to 69,000 dependant on experience

They are seeking a skilled and experienced Instrumentation, Controls and Electrical Engineer to join their highly professional and forward-thinking team.
THE ROLE:
As the Instrumentation, Control and Electrical Engineer your job will be to provide subject matter expertise and independent assurance in support of safe and reliable operations, growth projects and new technology development.
Provide solutions to complex control problems, engineering assurance including CHAZOP/COOP, failure analysis, subject matter expertise, and field support in service of the safe and reliable operation of company's assets worldwide
Provide independent functional safety support including functional safety assessment, SIL verification, functional safety lifecycle management advice and subject matter expertise for SIS and non-SIS protections
Identify and evaluate opportunities for process control improvements
Deliver complex control and trip system designs and instrumentation and control specifications to improve asset performance
Conduct peer reviews to ensure robust implementation of control applications and strategies
Support delivery of business improvement Roadmaps for Company assets
Provide data analysis and visualisation to support control strategies and provide operational and process safety insights.
Own and maintain company technical practices and stay appraised of changes in industry standards and legal requirements
Input company process control and safety software selection
For this position of Instrumentation and Controls Electrical Engineer your working hours are Monday to Friday, either 8.00am to 4.00pm or 9.00am to 5.00pm.
THE CANDIDATE:
What they are seeking for in a candidate
Degree in relevant discipline, e.g. chemical, instrumentation or electronic engineering, or equivalent qualification
Extensive experience of control for continuous manufacturing process plant preferably within the Acetyl or Petrochemicals industries including design, installation, commissioning/start-up, operation, and maintenance
Experience of design, commissioning, tuning, troubleshooting and maintenance of process control systems including complex regulatory process control
Ability to optimise manufacturing plants through an understanding of the process technology and application of process control strategy
Understanding of the key variables and constraints that impact safe and reliable operations
Experience of instrumentation specification, selection, installation and maintenance
Knowledge of online analysis techniques and equipment
Understanding of functional safety lifecycle & safety instrumented systems
Generalist electrical engineering knowledge including electrical safety issues and protections, hazardous area classification and industry standards
