Role and responsibility
Follow all system documentation including, but not limited to:
Project Briefsystem schematicsrack elevationsroom elevationsmechanical and electrical mark ups and furniture Have excellent installation knowledge of commercial AV products and brands such as:
ExtronHarmanCrestronBiamp & Polycom Consistently drive a high level of engineering quality for both yourself and fellow colleagues.
Maintain and follow the onsite health and safety processes outlined in the company policies.
Complete site-based documentation including, but not limited to:
serial number recordsmanual cable schedules and stock return forms Acquire a thorough understanding of installation requirements and objectives including, but not limited to:
site coordinationmaterialspersonnel and scope of work Manage, report and co-ordinate van stock levels, cable usage and tool states with Regional Technical Manager & project support team.
Attend internal and site-based toolbox talks.
Ability to be flexible and work past design and building obstructions should they occur.
Working with the Project Co-Ordination team, manage all product returns and van stock levels as well as holidays.
Assess potential site risks and hazards to add to the existing site-specific risk and method statements.
Function as the focal point for internal and external engineering communication and documentation in the absence of a Project Manager.
Coordinate activities with general contractor, construction manager, owner, and other trades as required.
Provide regular reports to Regional Technical Management and Project Managers.
Regularly inspect installation work and assess against their engineering standards documentation.
Test or certify the performance of installed systems.
Coordinate and/or provide basic functional training to client.
Ability to have flexible working hours.
Manage all relative responsibilities as per ISO 9001 procedure (available upon request)

CTS - Certified Technology Specialist
CTS-I - Certified Technology Specialist in Design
ECS - Electrotechnical Certification Scheme
IPAF - International Powered Access Federation Training
PASMA - Prefabricated Access Suppliers Training
Manufacturer Specific Training - Crestron, Extron, AMX, Nexia & SY
