My client has a great opportunity for an experienced Installation and Maintenance Engineer to join its Hailsham-based family firm. The Engineer will carry out compliance testing, audits, safety checks of healthcare equipment, repair and maintenance of chemical dosing equipment in schools and nursing homes throughout the South East.

The role will include:

Inspections and repair of healthcare equipment such as electric beds, hoists, chairs and bath lifts, mattress and seating systems and wheelchairsInstallations and maintenance of auto-dosing laundry, dishwasher and dilution systemsDispenser fitting such as hand towels, toilet tissue and skincareLOLER and PUWER testing of healthcare equipmentIdentifying customer needs for new equipmentDriver relief cover for spikes in demandCarrying out basic site duties such as decorating, gardening and facility maintenance tasks

If you have experience of repairing equipment and installing auto-dosing equipment, a van licence for 3.5tonne manual van and 4.2tonne electric van, health and safety awareness including understanding of LOLER testing and PUWER , Part P - 18th edition electrical qualification and flexibility to act as a relief multi-drop delivery driver, please apply.
