About the Role
The purpose of this remote-based position is to sell designated product lines to an agreed portfolio of independent veterinary customers and corporate key accounts where required.
The Inside Sales Account Manager (ISAM) will work via the telephone and via virtual meetings, rather than driving and meeting customers in person and offer a cost-effective approach to growth and engagement with accounts agreed with the ABM.
This role contributes to the overall success of Zoetis through sales growth and market share gain for the designated product lines and growing the profile and reputation of our business through professional and mutually successful partnerships with the customer.
Infrequent travel within the UK or very occasionally abroad may be required to attend company meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a high level of expertise with the evolving portfolio of products, services, pricing, competition, market and industry trendsWork in close collaboration with AMs, SAMs, DAMs, DSS', KAMs and ABM to understand and develop account plans and strategyEnsure customer information and call reports are continuously updated through the CRM system in line with national KPIsAlign activities and account plans to marketing programmes and management direction in line with the Solution Selling modelDeliver call activity in accordance with agreed KPIs to achieve the required coverage and frequency with identified target customersAll booked appointments are entered into the CRM system with a clear pre-call plan included in line with the solution-selling modelCoordinate with colleagues in order to achieve positive changes to the customer's understanding and use of our portfolio of products, services and pricingAccurately record call activity in the CRM system in line with company guidanceDeliver agreed sales targets, growth and market share gains for specified product linesConnect customer needs with Zoetis products and servicesInteract with the customer with the goal of linking Zoetis, our products and our services to the long-term business needs of the customerDevelop mutually beneficial long-term partnerships with our customers based on high-quality interactions and exceptional provision of serviceContribute to the success of your team by sharing best practices with colleagues and proactively introducing ideasMaintain high standards of business conduct and compliance, adhering particularly to Pharmacovigilance Policy, Global vet Policy, Zoetis values, travel and expenses policy and local codes of practiceAttain AMTRA qualification within three years of employment with ZoetisMaintain accurate business records, including CRM, and communicate effectively with the Area Business Manager and other stakeholdersManage allocated customer support budget with tight control to avoid overspends Required Skills:
