With over 40 years in business, a leading plastics manufacturing facility is looking for an Injection Moulding Lead Technician / Team Leader to join their team. This company continues to go from strength to strength, winning projects with new and existing customers, receiving a huge investment and installing state–of–the–art equipment to aid in their quest to become the number one in their field.

Working with the Production Manager, you will be the technical expert on site, looking after a team of around 15 Setters/Technicians.

GBP35,000 – GBP39,000, Days Monday – Friday

As the Injection Moulding Lead Technician / Team Leader, your duties will include –

Leading the mouldshop team, setting daily priorities and targetsResolving moulding / production issues, ensuring production runs smoothlyAssisting, supporting and training Setters/TechniciansLeading optimisation and CI activityLiaising with customers with regards to any non–conformance issues To be successful in the role of Moulding Lead Technician Team Leader, the ideal candidate will –

Have a significant amount of experience within plastic injection moulding, with formal trainingBe experienced in trouble shooting process issues, leading optimisation / CI projects, and tool triallingBe comfortable with dealing with customersHave experience as a Supervisor, Team Leader or Shift Manager Click on the link to Apply!
