What is the role?
With a rapid growth through the acquisition of long-term index-linked leases, the client is now looking for an Income Officer to join their growing team.
Main responsibilities:
To monitor and action rent accounts, including making telephone calls, sending letters and invoices, and diarising to check for incoming payments due in line with existing policy and procedureTo receive and process payments to tenant accounts, including the setting up of Direct Debits and dealing with payment related queries from our tenants or their Appointees, giving relevant advice and assistance on income, arrears, or welfare benefit-related matters where appropriateNegotiate and finalise repayment plan proposalsDeal with queries from tenants, legal representatives, and staff in a timely and professional mannerTo prepare all paperwork and attend court in relation to any enforcement action that is requiredTo serve legal notices on tenants in the prescribed format, and record accurately on the computer system
This role is offering a salary of circa 35,000 per annum, with 2 days a week in their Christchurch office.
