We have an exciting position available for Income Collection Assistant to join us!
The Income and Financial Inclusion team provides the foundation for all the other services within the business, this role provides an opportunity to interact with customers, liaise with internal departments and external partner agencies.
You will be a key part of the team, providing administrative support to enable the smooth running of our income collection processes. We re looking for those who can effectively communicate with colleagues at all levels and external stakeholders to provide an outstanding income collection service and be responsible for confirming the correct customer rent charges to Universal Credit via the online Landlord Portal. Further to this you ll carry out Housing Benefit Administration; processing of housing benefit overpayment requests from the local authority and managing notification of changes to customers housing benefit award.
What we re looking for:
Experience in an administrative role and working to tight deadlines. It would be advantageous but not essential to have experience of working within income collection and providing administrative support within the team.
Experience of working in a targeted environment and delivering on KPI s
Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative to meet objectives/deadlines.
Good working knowledge of IT systems.
Ability to maintain records and to write concise, accurate and relevant notes.
Willingness to share new ideas on how workstreams can become more efficient.
