Hello!

I'm a British English teacher based in Italy, looking for online students. I've been teaching the English language since 2005 and have worked in Barcelona, Madrid, London, Tokyo, Rome, and online. I speak Italian, French, Japanese, and a little Spanish.

Since 2018, I've had a lot of training in teaching online and have no problem keeping young learner's attention and helping everyone with speaking.

My students often say that their lessons are inspiring and that I make them laugh. Some people comment that their English improves as if by magic through my teaching.

I have a Trinity TESOL certificate, a degree in English language and literature, a postgraduate certificate in discourse analysis (linguistics), certificates in IELTS preparations, teaching online, and teaching young learners. I am currently researching education. I am an FCE speaking examiner.

I am also a qualified and experienced legal secretary. Plus, I worked in hospitality for 15 years. England was my home for a long time and I have lived in nine counties so know it very well. My cultural competence is high and I understand the challenges of living in a foreign country.

I offer 15-minute and 30-minute conversation classes for adults. This is an excellent way to improve your communication skills. Students do most of the talking and corrections are provided.

60 minutes of tuition allows students to go into depth and learn new grammar and vocabulary. Students can follow a textbook and do a combination of exercises, listening comprehension, and speaking to make progress.

My previous students have had a high level of success at IELTS and many of my learners have attained band 7 or higher. I also have experience providing Cambridge Exam preparation (KET, PET, FCE, CAE, CPE).

In fact, my prices may seem low, but that is because most language schools have to pay for buildings, buy equipment, and give secretaries and cleaners a salary as well as teachers.
