(This is a volunteering ad to help the community. This is not a service offering ad. Nothing is required by me.)
If you see a lost cat sleeping outside cold/hungry in South Yorkshire (Doncaster or nearby), you can let the cat into your home and contact me, as I could come to pick up to look after in my house temporarily.
I can drive to rescue them to give food/shelter until reuniting (with owners) or rehoming (to new owners). I am (nonsmoker with experience in cats) alone in a big house, so could help homeless cats who'd be in a healthy foster home
Pickup locations (your home after you managed to get the lost cat inside) could include Doncaster, Scunthorpe, Goole, Selby, Pontefract, Tadcaster, parts of Leeds, Wakefield, Barnsley, Rotherham, parts of Sheffield, Bawtry, Epworth.
(Maybe I could go a little bit further. Contact me with your location.)
If there's a homeless cat that you've managed to get in to your home needing help, please write to me with as much information as you can.
Please do not send a 1-line message. Thanks.
NB.
1)
Please note that I can't help if you just 'see' a lost cat out in streets/backyards. (As they'd have gone by the time I get there. Even if they're still around, I can't catch them to put into a pet carrier to load in car.) Call animal charities in that case.
I can only come to help if you've let the lost cat into your home with windows/doors closed so they can't get out. The lost cat needs to be inside your property.
2)
Normally I would only come to rescue such lost cats if you have taken the cat to vets or animal charities to see if that cat is microchipped. (They won't charge you for scanning lost cats for microchip with information on the registered keeper. - This is as lost cats' owner could be 5min walk from your place.)
So if you have managed to get a seemingly homeless cat sleeping out cold to be inside your home, please first take that cat to a vet or a cat charity to scan for microchip. If it turns out the cat is not microchipped so owners can't be traced, you can contact me
3)
What you could also do is to contact animal/cat charity organisations that may be able to help by taking them in, but I understand that a lot of them are stretched with little space and resources (in part due to so many people who thoughtlessly and irresponsibly got pets during lockdown/working from home, and in part due to the cost of living crisis, so people are feeling they can no longer look after their beloved pets), so I am just offering help for lost, homeless cats going hungry sleeping out in freezing cold and snow by providing them with a temporary warm home to eat and sleep comfortably with me under my care.
Thank you.
PS. I know from experience that as I post this community helping ad, there will be the sly humans shaming their mother, contacting me to ask for money, ask for online shopping gift voucher, ask for free accommodation and click this link as I will give you work from home job and make millions and what not. I feel sorry for your mother or whoever raised you, as they must be so proud of how you turned out. You are a good example of how human being get their heart polluted. Your con and wicked acts get binned unread before you get reported and blocked.
