This is a project for someone who loves Thinkpads. This is a Lenovo Thinkpad T400 with a core 2 duo processor. You can fix this with additional parts or use as a donor system.

Please note the following;

No hard disk - easy and cheap fix, SSD should liven it up - I have the supporting runners for the HD if you want them

4 GB RAM

No OS - you will need appropriate installation media for Windows or Unix it has optical drive, USB etc.

There is a keyboard error when you boot, so it gets to setup screen but not beyond (as there is no OS or HD) - this may be resolvable by removing or cleaning the keyboard

No power supply

Screen looks good and clear

Good robust chassis - great keyboard and classic bento box Thinkpad style

The laptop boots but will need a bit of work - it is in good clean condition with no obvious damage.

Please note that this is a party functional machine that needs some work - you are not buying a fully working laptop or anything state of the art.
