As a General HR Advisor, you will provide comprehensive support and guidance to employees and managers on a wide range of HR matters. You will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, promoting a positive work culture, and fostering employee engagement and development.
Duties:
To provide advice and guidance in understanding and implementing employee relations policies and practices.support the HR Consultant with all aspects of employee relations case management within Neighbourhood Services, with a particular focus on sickness absence managementEffectively manage employee relations cases in a timely professional manner ensuring that cases are fully prepared and administered within policy guidelines.To provide HR presence at meetings as appropriate, to provide support in ensuring appropriate paperwork, records of discussions and agreed subsequent action plans are created and circulated within the time frames to those involved in the process, i.e., employee, relevant manager, unison, and employee representativesTo monitor sickness absence levels and support and advise managers in the control of sickness absence specifically in line with the council's absence management procedureTo be able to update and run ad hoc reports from the HRIS system.Recruit, retain and develop the behaviours and skills required by our employees to deliver services effectively to our customersRequirements:
