The transmission network operators have secured c. 8bn as part of the T2 package of RIIO. This is an exciting time and this role is crucial. We are working with in the Transmission and Distribution sector across the UK as well as supporting other Energy and infrastructure business sectors such as offshore wind and HVDC interconnectors.
The role is flexible and UK wide.
You will be working at client sites and sometimes from our offices.
You'll be client focused - being able to interface with clients and understand their needs.
You will
- Be delivering projects for clients providing services such as
HVDC interconnectors owners
Offshore wind developers
Transmission network owners.
- Liaising with cable experts
- HVDC/FACTs experts
- Delivering on projects
You will also be:
- Involved with specification preparation.
- FAT, SAT and site quality visits.
- Technical Due Diligence
- Operational faults analysis
You will have:
A degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
FEED through Detailed Design
HVDC System design or equipment design, insulation coordination, filter design, valve design, cooling design, plant design
or HVDC Operations, asset management and technical support to HVDC Operators.
or HVDC fault diagnosis and assessment.
Full UK driving licence
