The transmission network operators have secured c. 8bn as part of the T2 package of RIIO. This is an exciting time and this role is crucial. We are working with in the Transmission and Distribution sector across the UK as well as supporting other Energy and infrastructure business sectors such as offshore wind and HVDC interconnectors.
The role is flexible and UK wide.
You will be working at client sites and sometimes from our offices.
You'll be client focused - being able to interface with clients and understand their needs.
You will
- Provide Leadership on the FEED and detail design workstream
- Act as TP141/equivalent assurance engineer where required.
- Review the HV plant aspects of different projects including HV layouts, earthing design and reports, mechanical interlocking, HV busbar calculations and technical specification for the HV plant equipment.
- Attending site visits, FAT and SAT as required.
You'll need to have:
Chartered Engineer through the IET.
Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Track record of leading teams in the delivery of Front-End Engineering and design
Detailed design of EHV (132kV upwards) substation projects.
TP141 or equivalent authorised or ability to do so.
