The role
As a Human Factors Advisor, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Providing the Human Factors substantiation component of safety justifications.
Day to day, you'll Conduct and support SHEP improvement activities as required by Marine Function, as well as:
Prepare Human Factors assessment work in support of both design and safety aspects of the Marine Sector".Work together with other key teams such as the SHEP team to ensure safety improvement is prioritized throughout the entire lifecycle.Work with other Human Factors Specialist within other Babcock sectorsProvide Human Factors input to investigations and projects as required.To provide the Human Factors substantiation component of safety justificationsEssential experience of the Human Factors Advisor
We will consider HSE professionals with an interest in Human Factors and provide development to the standard required.
Be experienced in the application of human factors knowledge / understanding in support of engineering system / process design.Can clearly understand engineering concepts and to communicate effectively with engineers and other scientific disciplines on human factors related matters.Qualifications for the Human Factors Advisor
Relevant Health and Safety or Human Factors qualifications.The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
