201 pages, including index, with 12 colour and 109 monochrome plates, and chapters covering prehistoric art, Buddhist art, the Nara , Heian, Kamakura, Muromachi, Momoyama and Edo periods as well as modern Japan, this is an excellent compact history of Japanese art.
The book is in very good condition with tight binding and no inscriptions or annotations.
