Principal People are pleased to be working exclusively with an industry leading facilities management organisation to recruit a new HSEQ Manager to the business, working on a new government contract.
Leading the HSEQ team on this new contract, this person will play a key role in providing direct support to staff providing both hard and soft services on the account as well as a team of three HSEQ Advisors.
This role will be a mix of home working, traveling to national sites, and working at one of the key account sites in Weybridge. The HSEQ Manager will be responsible for:
Remotely managing a team of three HSEQ Advisors. Acting as the subject matter expert on all areas of HSEQ for the contract. Aiding in the implementation of the company s HSEQ strategies and policies within the account. Supporting in the delivery and monitoring of an internal and client audit schedule, working to ISO 45001, 9001 and 14001 standards. Helping to proactively deliver HSEQ and wellbeing KPIs. Working alongside management to create a positive safety culture and ownership of HSEQ at all levels internally and on client sites.
The successful HSEQ Manager will have:
NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification. Experience managing a team within Health and Safety is essential. Experience working within the Facilities Management sector is preferred. The communication skills to work with staff at all levels to engage with and influence key stakeholders. The ability to work autonomously and manage their own schedule. Full UK driving licence.
