Description
Key to the role is the ongoing development and implementation of HR Strategy & Policy, management of employee pay, reward and benefits, recruitment, induction, and retention programmes together with absence management. The HR Manager must ensure legal compliance and provide expertise in HR legislative requirements. The HR Manager is required to develop ongoing relationships with Trade Union representatives within the company. The HR Manager will also provide required administration of Pension Schemes, life assurance and private medical insurance.
Profile
A successful HR Manager should have:
Have solid experience in a hands-on role within a varied HR environment including management of complex employee relations issuesThorough understanding of employee lawWorking knowledge of payroll proceduresProven success/experience of leading a teamExperience of influencing at all levels including senior management and Board levelExperience of driving and managing changeStrong communicator, able to establish and grow long-standing relationshipsA highly organised individual with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously priorities tasks effectivelyGood PC skills including MS Office- Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPointLevel 7 CIPDJob Offer
