A well–established organisation based south of Manchester is seeking a driven, operational, and personable Head of HR to join their team on a permanent basis. You are required to be onsite 5 days a week for this role.
Reporting to and working closely with the CEO, you will be responsible for all matters relating to recruitment and recruitment campaigns, employee relations matters, employee engagement and retention, learning and development programs, as well as taking the lead in liaising with external agencies, professional bodies, and stakeholders. This role is 80% operational and 20% strategic.
You will be instrumental in developing and implementing the company HR manual and further developing HR strategies, whilst also working very closely with the senior leadership team and board members. You will be responsible for managing a small HR team of 5 people, guiding and supporting them where necessary. You will also be instrumental in looking at structured ways of upskilling team members and carrying out succession planning.
To be considered, you must have a minimum of 5 years experience working in a senior HR role, have worked within a fast–paced, process–driven, recruitment focussed and highly regulated environment previously, have experience working within an SME, and have previously managed a small team.
