HR Manager

Salary range: £38,000 - £55,000 p.a. depending on skills, qualification and experience

Immediate start possible – Monday to Friday

Our client is looking for a skilled HR professional with schools’ experience to join their team. This role would suit either a HR Advisor wishing to take their first step into a management role or someone who has already established themselves as a skilled manager and HR practitioner. The salary offered will reflect the skills and experience of the successful candidate.

You will be joining a friendly and supportive team where staff wellbeing is at the forefront of their work. Our client runs two small and “Excellent” rated schools.

You will report to the CEO and be supported by an HR Assistant, and working closely with senior schools staff and other colleagues in Head Office.

The role will be split across 3 sites, one school in East London, one school in North West London and a Head Office in West London, therefore willingness to travel is essential (though accessible via public transport – driving not essential) as you will be going to each site for one day each week. Home working for one day a week will be possible once established in the role.

Office hours are generally 9am to 5:30am though some flexibility is possible in terms of working hours, for example term time only, part-time, compressed hours, earlier starts / finishes etc…

They are looking for someone who has experience in schools HR compliance work as well as generalist HR experience and who holds a CIPD qualification or is willing to study towards this. Part funding and study leave could be available for the right candidate.
